Separation / Divorce Mediation
Divorce Mediation allows you to be the ones who determine how assets and liabilities will be distributed, to establish a detailed parenting plan that honors both parents’ rights and wishes, and to address the issues of child and spousal support without the divorce becoming a legal battle. Keeping a divorce out of open court protects your privacy, and minimizes the emotional and financial costs of a divorce. - Click Here For More Information
Eldercare Mediation
Our Eldercare Mediators couple the compassion and sensitivity to address the issue of a party's diminished capacity, while at the same time include that individual in the decision making process to the greatest extent possible. - Click Here For More Information
Family Conflict Mediation
What a Family Conflict Mediator does, is help the parties get the process of give and take in motion. In a divorce, the parties are dividing themselves. In a healing family, they begin anew on joining back together. Mediation becomes a form of intervention that enhances, rather than replaces, traditional counseling. - Click Here For More Information

Services Offered By ADR

In all of our mediations, our responsibility to you is to provide a safe, confidential, and neutral environment within which to resolve differences, and work towards a fair and lasting agreement. Our mediators maintain a neutral role and do not take sides. Mediators do not pass judgment on what is right or wrong, and do not have decision-making authority. The outcome is what both parties can be satisfied with, and agree upon.

Mediation limits the costs of resolving disputes, avoids the uncertainty and delay of the adversarial court system, puts you in control of the final agreement, and allows you to emerge from the process with self-respect and dignity.

While at ADR Mediation Center we provide mediation services for a wide range of disputes, our initial focus was the provision of Divorce Mediation services as an alternative to a litigated divorce. We maintain a separate division dedicated to Divorce Mediation, and remain committed to working with couples to mutually settle the asset / liability distribution issues of divorce, and to focus on the development of a parenting plan that meets the needs of all family members.

Mediation, as used in law, is a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), is a way of resolving disputes between two or more parties. A third party, the mediator, assists the parties to negotiate their own settlement.

Mediation has a structure, timetable and dynamics that "ordinary" negotiation lacks. The process is private and confidential. The presence of a mediator is the key distinguishing feature of the process. There may be no obligation to go to mediation, but ... any settlement agreement signed by the parties to a dispute will be binding on them.
